Collection of stuff … resources, recipes, photos, workouts.
I had a great time visiting home this past weekend. A huge thanks to Quantum Health and Yoga Lounge for having me teach their Friday night Power Fusion Yoga class. Very grateful to be invited into the warm and welcoming community Scott Howe has built there.
Also got to fit in some reading time on the return flight--learning more about fascia and why it's so important to roll.
There won't be any weekday classes this week, but we'll return for a "Knik River Flow" class on Sunday, July 1, at 4 p.m. (a little change-up from the usual Lazy Sunday class).
We should be going live with the MINDBODY online signup soon! Stay tuned!
We came, we breathed, we rolled. And we did a little yoga. Today was the first day of class for our “soft opening" of Drop Dog Yoga. Lazy Sunday class was held as scheduled and fun was had.
During our teacher training, we talked a lot about creating a safe container for our students. That really resonates with me, as I always feel like the odd duck when I walk into a room. My hope is that you embrace your odd duck, and that you feel welcome here. And you know what, we might even talk during class; there's no reason to have a fishbowl of people silently wondering to themselves, "am I doing this right?"
Speaking of containers and bowls, here is a project I’m working on for the studio.
